Triiibe Terms of Service

Welcome to Triiibe! These terms govern your use of the Triiibe web application (“Service”), operated by Digital Forge, LLC, a Virginia limited liability company (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Triiibe is a wholly owned product of Digital Forge, LLC.

By using Triiibe, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

What Triiibe Does

Triiibe is a group trip-planning tool. It helps organizers coordinate gear, activities, expenses, and logistics with their group. The organizer pays a one-time fee to create a trip, and attendees join for free via an invite link.

Creating a Trip

When you create a trip, you pay a one-time fee of $9.99 through our payment processor, Stripe. This fee is non-refundable once your trip is created, except in cases where we determine a refund is warranted (for example, if a technical error prevented your trip from being created). We reserve the right to change the trip creation fee at any time, but any change will only apply to new trips — not ones already created.

Accounts and Phone Numbers

Triiibe does not use traditional accounts with usernames and passwords. Instead, you access the Service by verifying your phone number via SMS. Your phone number is your identity on Triiibe. You are responsible for maintaining access to your phone number and for any activity that occurs under it.

You must provide accurate information when using the Service. You must be at least 13 years old to use Triiibe. If you are under 18, you may only use Triiibe with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

SMS Notifications

By using Triiibe, you consent to receive SMS messages related to your trips, including join confirmations, trip reminders, and update notifications. These messages are a core part of how Triiibe works and cannot be opted out of while you are an active participant in a trip. Standard messaging rates from your carrier may apply.

How You Can Use Triiibe

You agree to use Triiibe only for its intended purpose — planning group trips. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ data or trips
  • Send spam, harassment, or abusive content through the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service
  • Impersonate another person

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.

Your Content

When you add items, activities, notes, or other content to a trip, you retain ownership of that content. By adding it to Triiibe, you grant us a license to store, display, and process it as needed to provide the Service. We do not sell your content to third parties.

Trip data (gear lists, activities, expenses, attendee information) is retained for up to 3 years after the trip end date. After that, we may delete it. We do not guarantee data availability beyond the active life of the Service.

AI-Generated Content

Triiibe may use artificial intelligence to generate destination images and suggest activities or gear. AI-generated content is provided for convenience and may not be perfectly accurate. You should not rely on AI-generated suggestions as the sole basis for safety or planning decisions.

Payments and Refunds

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. Our general policy is refund-first — if something goes wrong on our end, we will make it right. However, we are not obligated to provide refunds for change of plans, cancellations, or dissatisfaction with the Service after a trip has been created and used.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Triiibe is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do our best to keep the Service running smoothly, but we make no warranties — express or implied — about reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. We are a trip-planning tool, not a travel agency, insurance provider, or safety service.

We are not responsible for:

  • The accuracy of emergency service information (hospital, police, fire locations)
  • Trip outcomes, travel safety, or interpersonal disputes among trip members
  • Third-party services (Stripe, Twilio, Google Maps, OpenAI) that Triiibe integrates with

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Virginia law, Digital Forge, LLC’s total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of Triiibe is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify active users via SMS or by posting a notice in the app. Your continued use of Triiibe after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.
